NFL Power Rankings Week 12

1. New England Patriots
That was so close. Why did Feely throw that pick at the end? I don't see the Ravens giving this team that much trouble.

2. Dallas Cowboys
This Thursday is going to be awesome. I may have to go out to watch the game.

3. Green Bay Packers
See above.

4. Indianapolis Colts
When Marvin is back, this team will be back. Don't count them out.

5. Pittsburgh Steelers
That was definitely one of the strangest games I've ever seen. They still should have won by more than 3.

6. Jacksonville Jaguars
This team is starting to look like the sleeper team we thought they would be.

7. Cleveland Browns
This team is a lot of fun to watch. I know he has no shot at making it, but Derek Anderson should be considered for the Pro Bowl this year.

8. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
If Jeff Garcia isn't back this week, this team could be in trouble. He really sparks this team.

9. Seattle Seahawks
They seem to keep finding ways to win games. Not sure how, but they're a lock for the playoffs.

10. New York Giants
That was just an awful, awful loss.

11. San Diego Chargers
When will this team decide to play hard all the time?

12. Philadelphia Eagles
Just based on their scrappy performance on Sunday night, I've bumped them up a little higher than they should be.

13. Arizona Cardinals
How do you let up that many points to the 49ers, let alone lose? That was pathetic.

14. Detroit Lions
Another bad home loss. This team better wake up quick, with the streaking Vikings up next.

15. Houston Texans
This team is almost there, but they're missing a secondary and a running back.

16. Denver Broncos
Just when you think they're good, they find a way to lose to the Bears despite being up 14 points in the 4th quarter. Keep kicking to Hester though.

17. New Orleans Saints
This team should have 8 wins with the talent they have. I just don't get it.

18. Tennessee Titans
I probably have them too low, but they have stunk the last couple of weeks. Vince Young may not be that great after all.

19. Minnesota Vikings
This team may just find a way to make the final wild card spot in the NFC.

20. Washington Redskins
This team is starting to play how most people expected them to.

21. Chicago Bears
That was a huge win on Sunday. I still don't see them making the playoffs.

22. Buffalo Bills
Trent Edwards should have played on Sunday.

23. Cincinnati Bengals
We'll see if the Bengals are really back when they take on the Steelers.

24. Baltimore Ravens
This is one underachieving team if I ever saw one.

25. Kansas City Chiefs
Brodie Croyle sure didn't play too well. There are a lot of quarterbacks in this league that probably shouldn't be starting.

26. Carolina Panthers
If you find their offense, let John Fox know.

27. San Francisco 49ers
Where the heck did that come from?

28. Atlanta Falcons
Well, they're still not very good. On the bright side, they definitely aren't the worst team.

29. Oakland Raiders
I've always been a fan of Justin Fargas.

30. St. Louis Rams
They gave Seattle a very early Christmas gift.

31. New York Jets
I hope Kellen Clemens is better than that, or this team may have to get another quarterback.

32. Miami Dolphins
The Dolphins lose another close one. Nothing new. They will win one game this year. I'm just not sure when.

Survivor Series Recap

1. CM Punk vs. Miz vs. John Morrison
This match was better than I think most people thought it would be. There were some really cool spots and it was exciting all the way through. A very good opener. Punk retains his title.

Unofficial Rating: 3.5 (out of 5)

2. 10 Diva Tag Match
This was short and rightfully so. They are building Mickie James up to challenge Beth Phoenix, which is the right move. Mickie James scored the pin.

Unofficial Rating: .75 (out of 5)

3. Cody Rhodes + Hardcore Holly vs. Cade + Murdoch
This was a decent match, but it would have been better suited for Raw at this point. I'm not quite sure where they're going with Cody Rhodes. Cade + Murdoch retained their titles.

Unofficial Rating: 1.75 (out of 5)

4. Triple H, Jeff Hardy, Rey Mysterio, Kane vs. Umaga, MVP, Mr. Kennedy, Big Daddy V, Finlay
This match was solid, but not as good as it could have been. I'm not a fan of how it was booked, especially with Rey Mysterio and MVP getting pinned so quickly. Jeff Hardy and (surprise!) Triple H were the survivors.

Unofficial Rating: 3 (out of 5)

5. Great Khali vs. Hornswoggle
This was nothing. Finlay made the save, causing Khali to win by DQ. Garbage.

Unofficial Rating: 0 (out of 5)

6. Shawn Michaels vs. Randy Orton
Very solid match that saw Michaels playing up the no Sweet Chin Music stipulation throughout the match. The crowd seemed to be hot and both superstars delivered. Match of the night as Orton retains.

Unofficial Rating: 4 (out of 5)

7. Undertaker vs. Batista
This was probably their worst pay-per-view match, but still a very good contest. This was a little bit slower pace, which is expected in a Hell in a Cell match. Edge made his "surprise" return and destroyed the Undertaker, causing him to lose.

Unofficial Rating: 3.25 (out of 5)

Well after a bunch of duds in a row, WWE has put on two very good shows in the last month. I still haven't quite decided if I liked this or Cyber Sunday better. The Michaels/Orton match was better here, but the Batista/Undertaker match was better on that show. Either way, WWE is on a roll and hopefully it continues at Armageddon.

Overall Rating: 3.75 (out of 5)

NFL Power Rankings - Week 9

1. New England Patriots
Well, I picked the Colts and I was wrong. But this team is beatable. Unfortunately, there are only a few teams who are capable of doing it.

2. Indianapolis Colts
They played hard, but they made too many mistakes late in the game. I'm sure they'll bounce back.

3. Green Bay Packers
They keep finding ways to win. I bet they wish they could have that Chicago game back.

4. Dallas Cowboys
I'm still not completely sold on this team. Don't get me wrong, they're very good, but I think they often don't play to their potential.

5. Pittsburgh Steelers
Well that was impressive. They probably should be 8-0, but they lost two games to teams they should have never lost to. We'll see what they're made of when they play the Pats.

6. New York Giants
This team has a history of struggling late in the season. I'm still picking them over the Cowboys this week.

7. Detroit Lions
They have a tough road ahead, but if the defense plays as well as it did Sunday, they should win 10 games no problem.

8. Tennessee Titans
Their offense is miserable and that has to change if they want to make the playoffs.

9. New Orleans Saints
I probably have them way too high, but I sure as heck wouldn't want to play this team right now.

10. Cleveland Browns
So the Browns and the Lions are both in the top 10? Who would have thought? Looking at this teams schedule, there's no reason they shouldn't make the playoffs.

11. Washington Redskins
This team is still weak at the quarterback position, but they play hard and overachieve.

12. Jacksonville Jaguars
That was a beatdown on Sunday. With Marcus Stroud gone for 4 weeks, that's not a good thing. The good news is David Garrard should be back this week.

13. San Diego Chargers
What the heck was that? They got pounded by the Vikings? That was pathetic.

14. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Even with all of the injuries, this team continues to battle. I definitely have to give Jon Gruden credit for that.

15. Buffalo Bills
Just imagine if this team beat Denver and Dallas. They'd be on their way to a wildcard spot.

16. Seattle Seahawks
This team plays like they don't care. Good thing they're in the NFC West.

17. Carolina Panthers
Their offense has to play better. They aren't scoring any points.

18. Kansas City Chiefs
Losing Larry Johnson isn't a good thing, even if he hasn't been playing that great. We'll see what Priest Holmes has left.

19. Baltimore Ravens
I probably have them too low, but that was one of the worst games by a "playoff caliber" team I've ever seen in my 19 years of watching NFL football.

20. Minnesota Vikings
Well this team is showing some life, but when it comes down to it, they only have one offensive weapon.

21. Houston Texans
I don't think this team is going to win too many more games, especially without Andre Johnson.

22. Arizona Cardinals
Why did Edgerrin James only run the ball 9 times against a team that has had a hard time stopping the run?

23. Chicago Bears
Let's see what a week off does for this team.

24. Philadelphia Eagles
I'm still not sure how they beat the Lions by as much as they did.

25. Denver Broncos
They better hope Jay Cutler isn't out too long. Somehow, this team still has a shot at the playoffs.

26. Atlanta Falcons
I give them credit for playing hard on Sunday. That may be the last game they win.

27. Cincinnati Bengals
I'm not sure how a team with so much firepower can't win a game. I guess having the worst defense in the league is a good way to offset that.

28. Oakland Raiders
They are a boring team. I say let Russell play.

29. New York Jets
They blew a lead and lost in overtime. Good thing Clemens was playing.

30. San Francisco 49ers
A lot of people thought this team would make a run for the playoffs. They can't even score 20 points on the Falcons. They stink.

31. St. Louis Rams
Even at 0-8, the Rams could still technically win their division.

32. Miami Dolphins
This team may win 1 game. Maybe.
